Accessible transport

Are you entitled to hospital transport?

You are entitled to hospital transport if you need a stretcher for your journey or require oxygen or other medical gases during transit. You will also be considered for hospital transport if you have no other means of transport available.

Healthcare travel costs scheme (HTCS)

NHS in England help with health costs.  If you are referred to hospital or other NHS premises for NHS specialist treatment or diagnostic tests by your doctor, dentist or other health professional, you may be able to claim a refund of reasonable travel costs.

Phone ‘n’ ride

Phone ‘n’ ride is an on demand bus service managed by ENGIE in partnership with North East Lincolnshire Council. Unlike traditional bus services, Phone ‘n’ ride has no fixed route or timetable.

Phone ‘n’ ride operates using three buses in both the rural and urban areas of North East Lincolnshire.
